Lorian Heights Academy of Arcane Arts is a university in Beaufort, Valia.
After a successfull Judgment newly attuned are required by law to attend for two years in order to learn how to utilize their attunements[1].
As of Sufficiently Advanced Magic, Corin notes there are about 8000 students attending the orientation on his first day, some of them foreign students and some who hadn't taken their Judgments yet. Chancellor Wallace notes this as a record number[2].
Students are expected to wear the white uniform of the Academy, as well as the provided shield sigil (a silver pin with a school insignia) to all classes and testing sessions.
Divisions[edit]
There is one division for each of the Six Soaring Spires[2]. The dorms are split by division, as well as gender.

- Hydra division, Lord Teft
- Phoenix division, Professor Edlyn

Students infiltrating the other divisions
Each division is expected to identify members of Spider division. Failing to identify even one will lose each student of that division 150 points. Correctly identifying a spider yields the individual student up to one hundred points, however incorrectly accusing someone will also lose up to one hundred points[2].
