Dawnbringer is a sentient sword, and is one of the Six Sacred Swords. She is wielded by Keras Selyrian, but is also bonded to Reika, who served as her Guardian. As the Sacred Sword of Light, Dawn possesses several powerful light-based abilities.

Magic

Dawn possesses a strong bond to the Dominions of Light and Stability, and their compound spirit essence.

Light's Bond

Dawnbringer's spirit bond with her wielder allows her to communicate telpathically with them while they are nearby.

Dawn's Mark

Once someone bonds to a sacred sword, they gain a mark on their body similar to an attunement. The mark grows stronger over time and allows for the exchange of mana between the wielder and the blade, letting the wielder gain light and spirit mana from Dawn (and eventually enhancement mana). This generally provides Dawn's wielder with a level of magical resistance in addition to increasing their speed.

Golden Dawn

This ability makes Dawn glow incredibly bright, blinding enemies and countering shadow magic. It also appears to harm shadow monsters like ruinshades.

Luminous Arc

An extremely fast, long-distance blast of light from Dawn's blade that is very powerful, but consumes a lot of mana.

Radiant Dawn

Dawn's signature technique, Radiant Dawn allows for her to reflect magic with the flat of her blade. This is mana intensive, but can reflect even some of the strongest magic, including the signature techniques of other sacred swords.

Dawn has also gradually developed some abilities from her bond with Keras, alllowing her to use some metal sorcery and a much weaker version of Keras's annihilation aura.
