Magnus Cadence is the current head of house Cadence and a renowned Valian duelist. He's the father of Corin Cadence and has the Shaper Attunement from the Serpent Spire.
Appearance and Personality
He is a tall athletic man who has streaks of grey in hair and is noted by Corin to be the perfect image of a nobleman. Like most Valians, he considers combat focused attunements to be of higher value and considers Corin a failure for getting an Enchanter instead. He took Corin out of school and beat him over the course of several years to prepare the boy for his own Judgement. This repeated abuse gave Corin trauma and scars that Magnus disregards.
