True Blade

The True Blade was a magical sword wielded by Therin. The blade was made of white stone and was eventually broken in the Smiling Sword Saint's final duel against Vaelien. It is listed by Lien among other famous magical swords and part of it has been reforged into Flowbreaker and later Selys-Lyann.

Abilities

According to Keras Selyrian, it was mainly a defensive weapon and would protect its wielder. It could:

• cover the wielder in almost indestructible armor.
• compel people in close proximity to follow the wielder's command.
• allow the wielder to sense the truth, probably giving the sword its name.
