The Executioner attunement is a shroud-based attunement designed for all-out offensive combat. Executioners are known for their combat abilities in general, but especially the offensive abilities, such shaping their shroud into a blade. The Executioner attunement grants the attuned access to death mana and enhancement mana, along with their combination: ruin mana[1]. At citrine, it grants access to earth mana[1]. The executioner attunement is most commonly found in the Hydra Spire in Edria[1].

Features that are a result of specific attunement functions, rather than the types of mana available to the attuned.
Shroud Blades[edit]
The executioner attunement allows the attuned to shape their shroud into a blade shape much more easily than most other attuned, and to charge that blade with mana, typically enhancement. While this technique can be learned by all attuned, most cannot learn it until reaching sunstone. Because of this, this technique is sometimes called an Executioner's Blade[2].
