Caelford is the most technologically advanced of the major nations on Kaldwyn, excelling in engineering and non-magical warfare. They were the country that developed most of the newest technological advancements, including firearms and powered automobiles[1]

Newly attuned in Caelford have to attend one year of mandatory university training before being given apprenticeships, due to local focus on attunement-augmented manufacturing[2].

Caelford is Valia's closest Ally, despite not sharing a border, and Caelford's military technology was a large part of Valia's ability to defend themselves during the Six Years War. Their alliance continues due to the fears that if Edria defeats one of them, it will focus its efforts on destroying the other[3].
The constant threat of Edria's expansionist nature encourages joint military research projects with Valia, such as Project QSTN.
