Sliver of the Iron Rain
Sliver of the Iron Rain is a relic of the Talisian order, enchanted with protection spells to assist in the wielder’s role of defending the queen of Fallowden[1].
It is estimated to have been created in 2464VF, over 600 years prior to the events of Defying Destiny[1].
Appearance[edit]
The Sliver of Iron Rain is a rapier with a very thin blade, following a style more often used by swords for dueling, rather than combat. Likely because of this, it is very lightweight[1].
History[edit]
Following its use by the defenders of the queen of Fallowden, it is unknown what it was used for prior to being acquired by Kyestri and placed in his vault, where it remained up until the events of Defying Destiny, when it was magnetized by Taelien Salaris, in order to prevent it Kyestri from using it against him later[1][2]. It was not mentioned again, but it was likely put into the Jaden Box during the looting of Kyestri's Mansion.
When the Jaden Box is opened in On the Shoulders of Titans, it is not mentioned, most likely either missed when looting Kyestri's Mansion and never put in the Jaden Box or given to Taelien later, as it was previously arranged that he would get "all the swords"[3][4].
