The Rethri are a species of humanoids that look very similar to humans, except for the lack of sclera in the eyes. Rethri have a strong connection to a single dominion, which provides them an extra pool essence of that dominion type to work with before having to start paying the price like normal dominion sorcery. Rethri eye color often, but not always aligns, with the dominion they are strongly connected with. This strong connection prevents them from using the opposite mana type, but they are able to utilize other mana types. Rethri go through a secret ritual, when they come of age, which reinforces the connection to the dominion. Rethri who lack the strong connection to a dominion become sick and die.
