==History== A sentient spirit was in it, but it was suppressed by a set of runes on the sword. In [[Keras Selyrian]]'s duel against Ishyeal in the [[Tournament of the Sacred Sword]], Keras and [[Dawnbringer]] use their spellbreaker technique to deactivate those runes.<ref>Soulbrand Chapter XXIX</ref> Keras misses, however, resulting in the wrong runes being destroyed. This causes the spirit to be freed from the sword, taking a human form currently known as Akari.<ref>Soulbrand Chapter XXX</ref> Until further notice, this page will ''also'' serve for Akari's wiki, even though the she now exists in a separate form from the Soulbrand sword.
