As a Harvester of War, War is incredibly versed in magic using [[war essence]]. In the first trial of the Trials of Unyielding Steel, he was able to fire a single arrow that blasted a large hole in the torso of a target, as well as control every one of the other competitor's arrows. When fighting against Taelien, he has repeatedly shown the ability to summon fiery swords.
