'''Mizuchi''' is a child of [[Seiryu]], the [[God Beast]] of the [[Serpent Spire]]. As such, she is a spire monster herself and is usually not able to leave the spire.<br />

She is, however, released from the spire multiple times in the first books of Arcane Ascension. She appears the first time in [[Sufficiently Advanced Magic]], trying to find [[Vera Corrington]] after Vera broke out of a prison cell in the spire. In [[On the Shoulders of Titans]], she then kills a large number of people during the winter ball due to some people cooperating with [[Vae'kes]]. During that event many people fight against her but in the end [[Blanche Vellum]] [[Banishment essence|banishes]] her back into the spire using a powerful ritual. Starting from there, Mizuchi becomes a major enemy to Arcane Ascensions main characters. There is one further encounter between her and [[Corin Cadence|Corin]], [[Sera Cadence|Sera]] and [[Tristan Cadence]] but that is in the spire and while she is still weakened by the banishment.</div>Weihnaxbaum
